Martin G. Corry, Jr., an attorney since 1981, specializes in regulatory and legislative issues on behalf of many Massachusetts "blue chip" entities. His remarkable record of success is highlighted by the passage of several major laws that received considerable public and media attention, such as the Hospital Finance Reform, the State Police Consolidation Act, the Savings Bank Life Insurance Law and Electric Deregulation. He is a graduate of Boston College and Suffolk University Law School.

Due to the diverse nature of his clients’ interests, Corry has been able to interact with legislators at the earliest stages of their careers. By developing a relationship based upon providing quick and accurate responses to legislative informational requests, Corry has assisted, among others, Motorola, Raytheon, and Blue Cross Blue Shield in obtaining their legislative goals.

His diligent and aggressive representation of clients' interests has earned him wide acclaim on Beacon Hill. Corry's insightfulness is regularly called upon by both Republican and Democratic legislators, regulators and administration officials for professional and political advice. His ability to network with legislative staff personnel affords him access to critical informational resources which he, in turn, is able to assess on behalf of his clients. Marty Corry personifies the dynamic capabilities of his firm.

Allen R. Larson, an attorney, MBA and political strategist, brings considerable Federal credentials to Corry Associates. His service on the U.S. Senate staff and later as an attorney with the Federal Trade Commission provides clients of Corry Associates with a broad spectrum of regulatory and legislative contacts in Washington. Larson continues to effectively represent AARP and the Edison Electric Institute on several major regulatory matters in Washington, D.C.

In Massachusetts, Larson's successful consulting firm, Enterprise Management Group (EMG), has provided strategic business planning for a number of local clients including the Commonwealth Zoological Corporation, Thompson Island

Outward Bound Educational Center, the Greater China Business Network (co-founder), and the Hyannis Area Economic Development Corporation.

Allen Larson's political savvy and business acumen has established him as a recognized advocate of former Governor Celucci and his administration's efforts in developing an economically enhanced business climate in Massachusetts. Larson is an invaluable asset to the Corry Associates team.

Frank A. Valas, senior associate of the firm, has over 25 years of issues management experience on Beacon Hill. His clients are and have been a veritable "who's who" of corporate business, including utilities, insurance, entertainment, health care and communications.

Valas' grassroots organizational abilities, coupled with a public relations background developed in the energy industry, resulted in his management of a statewide referendum campaign on behalf of the Massachusetts Electric and Gas Association, whose interest prevailed by a 5–1 margin.

His strong communication skills make him an effective advocate for his clients and often have him testifying before legislative committees and at regulatory hearings. Valas’ keen understanding of the legislative process, as well, has him frequently consulted by his clients in devising appropriate strategies to implement or thwart legislative initiatives.

Frank Valas' interpersonal skills and years of legislative and regulatory process experience lend significant support to Corry Associates.
